The entrance, Pizza Express and Days Inn hotel.

Situated between Junctions 4a and 5 of the M3, Fleet Services remains a premier stop for everyone from long-haul truckers to families. While it still offers the classic "fried food" fix, the services have evolved into a bright, modern facility known for its cleanliness and efficiency. The "all under one roof" convenience is a big draw.

Customers in front of WHSmith, Little Waitrose and Pizza Express.

While brands fluctuate, the current heavy hitters (as of Jan 2026) include:

  • Fast Food & Quick Bites: Burger King, KFC, Subway, and Chopstix Noodle Bar.

  • Coffee & Treats: Multiple Starbucks locations (including a Drive-Thru), Krispy Kreme, and Tango Ice Blast.

  • Dining & Groceries: The Good Breakfast (replacing the older Harry Ramsden’s style offerings) and a Waitrose & Partners for high-quality travel snacks.

  • Essentials: A large WHSmith for road-trip supplies.

Facilities & Parking

  • Parking: As of Jan 2026 free for the first two hours. Be mindful that ANPR cameras are strictly enforced, and staying longer will result in a fine unless you pay at the kiosks.

  • Family & Pets: There are clean, modern restroom facilities, dedicated baby-changing areas, and a pet-friendly outdoor spac* with picnic seating.

  • Stay: The on-site Days Inn provides 24-hour reception, free WiFi, and pet-friendly room options.

  • EV Charging: Fleet has significantly expanded its Electric Highway presence with numerous high-powered EV charging points on both sides of the motorway.

Directions from Ascot Racecourse

To drive from Ascot Racecourse to Fleet Services (the westbound equivalent on the M3), you will travel approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) generally heading south and then west. The journey starts by exiting the racecourse onto the A332 toward Bracknell, then taking the A322 south to join the M3 at Junction 3 (Bagshot/Lightwater). Once on the M3 motorway heading southbound toward Southampton, you will continue for roughly 11 miles before reaching the service station located between Junctions 4a and 5. Significant delays often occur at the M3 Junction 3 roundabout, where traffic from the A322 merges, and through the ongoing smart motorway stretches between Junctions 3 and 4a where narrow lanes and lower speed limits are common. Additionally, the A322 corridor through Bagshot can become heavily congested during peak commuting hours.
